Funeral Support Payment helps pay for funeral costs if you or your partner are getting certain benefits or tax credits. You can use the payment towards funeral costs for a baby, child or adult. This includes babies who were stillborn. It usually will not cover the full costs. Tel. 0800 182 2222 

Bereavement Support Payment is not means-tested. It is based on a certain amount of National Insurance contributions having been paid by your partner or because of an accident at work or a disease caused by work. Tel. 0800 151 2012
