Funeral Costs & Options - Ayrshire

The excellent Magbiehill Park in Stewarton is a new commercial estate with the ideal characteristics for our funeral premises, i.e. secure & modern with ample parking. It is our registered office and initially it was to support our Glasgow funeral parlour in terms of care & administration, as well as garage facilities for our funeral fleet. However, we can now offer our modestly priced funeral options to conduct cremation and burial services throughout Ayrshire. (Arrangements for our Ayrshire funerals are by a home visit or by telephone appointment.)

Funeral costs vary according to the type of ceremony you choose.
Our Traditional Option has been assembled to include products and services that when combined enables us to keep costs low (included in the “Traditional” is the transfer cost to have your loved one’s coffin brought home the day before the funeral, if requested (conditions apply). The cortège would then proceed from the family home to the service location the next day).

Alternatively the Essentials Option, which is a simple and dignified send-off in itself, offers an ideal starting place if you prefer to build a bespoke, unique tribute to your loved one using your own suppliers i.e., florist, printer etc.

Calder Moore’s Direct Cremation Option is a discrete unattended farewell.

(Our “Essentials” & “Direct” options exclude visiting/viewing the deceased.)

Funerals for children under 18 years of age – our professional services are free of charge, including a suitably sized coffin & conveyance by hearse or other suitable vehicle on the day of the funeral service (excludes third-party costs).
